How to report an error
Email info@wildlifesafarideals.com with the subject line “Correction request”. Please include the page URL, the statement you believe is incorrect, the reason it is incorrect, and any reliable supporting source.
What we review
- Factual inaccuracies about destinations, wildlife, seasons, routes, lodges, operators, prices, booking conditions, entry requirements, or health guidance.
- Broken, outdated, or misleading links.
- Incorrect attribution, quotation, authorship, or image information.
- Material omissions that could cause a reader to misunderstand an important travel or booking decision.
- Potential conflicts between our published content and a current primary source.
How corrections are assessed
We compare the reported issue with the page, its available research, and relevant primary or authoritative sources. Where necessary, we may contact the person or organisation involved. Commercial disagreement alone does not require a correction, but evidence of a factual error will be reviewed regardless of whether the request comes from a partner or affiliate provider.
Types of changes
Minor spelling, punctuation, formatting, accessibility, and clarity improvements may be corrected without a public note when they do not change the meaning. Material factual errors, significant attribution problems, or changes that affect a travel or booking decision may be corrected with a note explaining what changed.
Response and timing
We acknowledge and investigate correction requests as resources allow, prioritising issues that could materially affect safety, legal compliance, travel eligibility, money, or booking decisions. Complex matters may require additional evidence or confirmation from an authoritative source.
Updates and archived information
Travel prices, availability, schedules, entry rules, health guidance, and operator terms can change after publication. A later change does not necessarily mean the original information was incorrect when published. When practical, we update affected guidance and identify the current source.
Appeals and unresolved concerns
If you believe a correction request was misunderstood, reply to the same email thread with additional evidence. A different member of the editorial team may review the matter where appropriate.
